Due to the changing nature of this category of uses, rates are subject to change during the course of the year.
The rates given below are pre-tax rates: add 5.5% VAT and 1% for Social Security contributions (repaid to AGESSA or Maison des Artistes).
The user has two years from the day when the authorization is delivered by SESAM to reproduce the work. After the two years, a new application for permission will need to be filed with SESAM.
Rates for computer-generated images :
- still computer-generated images: still-image rate multiplied by 2
- animated computer-generated images: audiovisual-work rate multiplied by 2
When the fee is calculated per minute of protected work, any portion of a minute under 30 seconds will be billed half the minute's rate, and any portion of a minute between 30 and 60 seconds will be billed the whole minute's rate.

"Institutional" multimedia programs
i.e. multimedia works designed to present or promote any private or public company or organization, its products or achievements, or to train its staff, and used on its premises or at trade/professional events. The fee includes the right to reproduce and perform the program for the entitled company or organization in the above-described conditions.
